The Fundamentals of Fair Housing – Intake course covers best practices in fair housing intake for Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) and Fair Housing Assistance Program (FHAP) staff. This course will provide an overview of the responsibilities and customer service orientation to conducting intake. Participants will learn how to conduct interviews, including conducting exercises on the do’s and don’ts of interviewing techniques, and learn how to establish jurisdiction and apply lessons in drafting timely complaints.
