CoCs and the Criminal Justice System Webinar Series: Building Effective Partnerships with CJ System Stakeholders

April 24, 2024, 12:00 p.m. PST

In honor of Second Chance Month, HUD is sponsoring a three-part webinar series that explores the core components of a soon to be released resource, Improving Housing Outcomes for People Involved with the Criminal Justice System.

The webinar series covers:

  1. Building effective partnerships with criminal justice system stakeholders
  2. Expanding access to housing through outreach, identification, and prioritization
  3. Advancing housing first through low-barrier housing and supports

This series provides foundational information, practical strategies, and case studies to increase the capacity and knowledge of housing and homeless service providers on successfully meeting the needs of people with criminal records.

Each webinar features Technical Assistance (TA) providers, community leaders, and housing programs implementing innovative and coordinated practices that are informed by people with lived experience of both the homeless response and criminal justice (CJ) systems.

This webinar is intended for CoC recipients and staff, including but not limited to CoC leadership, program managers, direct staff, and people with lived experience of homelessness. It is also intended for CJ system stakeholders. You must have a HUD Exchange account to register. Free account registration here.
