The U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) CoC program is pivotal in addressing homelessness and housing instability across communities and states.
The HUD CoC program requires a community-wide commitment to ending homelessness, which includes promoting access to and utilization of mainstream programs such as SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR), which increases access to stabilizing income and health insurance for people with disabilities.
