Wednesday, December 11, 11:00 a.m.

Join Futures Without Violence for an engaging webinar that delves into the complexities of human trafficking, particularly within the context of youth and adult survivors who have been system involved. Through a multidimensional lens, we’ll explore risk factors, protective strategies, and collaborative approaches to support survivors navigating the nuances of an already complicated system.

Learning objectives:

  1. Define human trafficking, to foster a shared understanding among system-involved survivors.

  2. Recognize the intersectionality of human trafficking with domestic

and sexual violence and other social issues, particularly those that

    effect system involve survivors.

  3. Identify the risk factors and indicators of trafficking specific to individuals with system involvement.

  4. Explore collaborative strategies to enhance protective factors, cultural safety, economic empowerment, and inclusion for survivors from diverse backgrounds navigating systems.
