The Sacramento CoC Board is accepting applications for appointment to its Racial Equity Committee (REQ).
Applications are due by Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 5:00 PM and the committee slate is anticipated to be announced by the full Board on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021.
The Racial Equity Committee holds primary responsibility for uncovering the scope, causes, and potential solutions of race serving as a predictor for homelessness in Sacramento. This discovery extends to the ways in which Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) experience homelessness and our local homelessness system. As knowledge is generated, it will be disbursed through interactive trainings, accessible reports, and other user-friendly mechanisms.
