2024 VAWA and Survivor Housing Community Conversations: Informed Consent and System Access

Thursday, August 29, 2024, 10:00 a.m.

This HUD Exchange learning session highlights best practices for obtaining informed consent and improving access to the homelessness response system through Victim Service Providers (VSPs). This includes resources from Continuums of Care (CoCs) and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) for housing and shelter options.

This session is part of the 2024 Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Survivor Housing Community Conversations Series which builds upon the VAWA 2022 Foundations for Continuum of Care (CoC) and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Webinar Series delivered in 2023.

This session is intended for CoC and ESG recipients and staff, including but not limited to CoC and ESG leadership, program managers, direct staff, and people with lived experience of homelessness. This session is also intended for victim services leadership, VSPs, and survivors.

Joining instructions:

Participants do not need to register in advance. It is strongly recommended that participants join the webinar 15 minutes prior to the start time (9:45 AM PST).
