This session provides an overview of the CoC Program process and requirements for calculating rent and occupancy charges for program participants and how they relate to CoC Program project implementation. Information includes requirements by type of project, steps for calculating charges, verification requirements and documentation standards.
This knowledge will support agencies to understand and apply the HUD project requirements for their CoC Program funded housing projects. Attendees of this session will be better able to implement and manage a compliant CoC Program project related to calculating participant housing charges including steps of rental calculation process, providing utility allowances and how to calculate and adjust household income.
