The California Homeless Coordinating and Finance Council is expected to issue a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Homeless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP) on Sept. 5, 2018. The Sacramento Continuum of Care is eligible for up to $12,729,412.
The California Department of Housing and Community Development released a NOFA for the California Emergency Solutions and Housing Program (CESH) Aug. 15. The Sacramento Continuum of Care is eligible for up to $1,619,424.
To prepare for the NOFAs and as a part of our local collaborative process, Sacramento Steps Forward, working in partnership with the City of Sacramento and the County of Sacramento, invited a broad range of stakeholders to an input session for the grant application.
The session included a brief outline by SSF, City, and County of a potential concept followed by an open discussion period where input was solicited. Written and oral feedback will be used to further develop the Continuum of Care proposal prior to consideration by the Continuum of Care Advisory Board, Sacramento City Council, and Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
