Meet the Staff: Krisi Kuchlenz, Administrative Assistant

Here at SSF, we seek diverse individuals who share a dedication to driving system-level changes to end and prevent homelessness in Sacramento using human-centered approaches.

We sat down with Krisi to learn more about her and what is ahead for her role as Administrative Assistant.

What will you be doing at SSF?
Primarily, I have been focusing on recruiting, developing job postings and descriptions for current and open positions. I assist with new hire onboardings while providing added support to the executive team and colleagues.

What motivated you to join SSF?
Their mission! When I learned that SSF’s focus is helping the homeless community, I immediately felt compelled to be here. It truly is a do good, feel good organization and I couldn’t be any prouder to work here. I love describing what I do and the purpose behind our organization.

What do you wish people knew about homelessness?
How vulnerable they are. How many didn’t just wake up and choose this path. Life is hard and it shouldn’t be harder. My heart goes out to each and everyone. I wish I could truly help each and everyone experiencing homelessness. It saddens me to watch someone struggle.

What are you excited to do in your new role?
I want to grow as a person. Learning more excites me.

Is there anything else you’d like for our CoC community to know about you?
I want to help! I’d love to help serve and support the community. I would love to help organize donation drives.
