Sponsor A Program
We are transforming the way providers, donors, and policymakers collaborate to end homelessness in our region. Through innovative public-private collaborations,  funding results-oriented programs, and increasing public education and participation, we are making a difference daily.

You can partner with us by sponsoring a program, which will allow us to continue helping individuals and families with children into permanent housing and continue to decrease the number of people who are chronically homeless in our region.

Rapid Access to Problem Solving (RAPS)

Update on RAPS Access Points Request for Proposals:

Thank you to the agencies who submitted proposals in response to the Rapid Access to Problem Solving (RAPS) access points Request for Proposals (RFP). A panel of non-conflicted members of the CoC Coordinated Entry System (CES) Committee and CoC Board, as well as SSF CES Team staff, reviewed all proposals submitted using criteria published in the RFP.  Based on the panel review, we are excited to announce the agencies selected to move forward in the award process.  Pending confirmation from proposers to accept the funds awarded and successful contracting processes, the following agencies will serve as the new access points for the RAPS pilot program:

  • LGBTQ Center
  • Sacramento Self Help Housing
  • South Sacramento Assistance Resource Team
  • WEAVE

The review panel prioritized funding decisions based on the strengths of each agency’s proposal, as well as funding a cohort of projects that are well-equipped to collectively improve access to the system for people experiencing homelessness in the community.

Data Analytics and Research Team

When it comes to homelessness, hyperbole rules and facts drool. We seek to disrupt that unfortunate reality with our data team who are on the leading edge of homeless data analytics and research, and will provide stakeholders and decision makers the factual information they need to find real solutions. Costs include data analytics tools, data visualization resources, and staff costs.

Access Points

Newly developed Access Points provide people experiencing homelessness with scheduled appointments with trained staff to learn about resources that may be available to them and to be assessed for housing programs managed by the Continuum of Care. Access Points provide an economy of scale that cannot be matched by the Outreach Teams. Each Access Point offers a unique sponsorship opportunity.

Email us at info@sacstepsforward.org if you are interested in supporting Sacramento Steps Forward programs through sponsorship or have additional ideas, questions, or comments.
