In June, the Frontline Learning Collaborative (FLC) celebrated its first anniversary, marking a year of remarkable growth and community building. This collaborative effort, facilitated by Sacramento Steps Forward, has provided a vital space for frontline workers from outreach, shelters, drop-in centers, respite spaces, and housing services to gather monthly, share resources, build relationships, and work together towards solutions in the homelessness response system.
Reflecting on the past year, attendees highlighted what the FLC has meant to them. Responses included:
- Connection
- Awareness
- Information
- Collaboration
- Unity
- Engagement
- Empowerment
- Encouragement
- Hope
- Support
This past year has demonstrated, more than ever, the power of collaboration and the critical role frontline workers play in the homelessness response system. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of the FLC. Here’s to another year of progress and unity!
