The 2021 Sacramento Encampment Pilot Project Workshop was held on Tuesday, August 31st from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM via Zoom. The workshop was a community report-out on a 14-month outreach pilot addressing unsheltered homelessness in Sacramento. Spearheaded by Sacramento Steps Forward and Sacramento County, with funding from the CDC Foundation and technical assistance from HomeBase, this initiative has provided valuable insights into how to provide immediate support for encampment residents and how to develop longer term support for our outreach infrastructure.
