COVID-19 Shelter Response
The Response Team has provided written guidance and holds regular meetings with community shelter partners on sanitation, daily and entry assessments, and social distancing.
COVID-19 Encampment Response
37 designated outreach workers from the County, Sacramento Steps Forward, Sacramento Self-Help Housing and Sacramento Covered are monitoring and working with people living outdoors. This includes 47 Encampments (< 20 people) and 69 encampments (20+ people). Meals are being provided daily. There is also a distribution of sanitation and hygiene kits.
