Meet the Staff: Michelle Reedus - Coordinated Entry Program Manager

What will you be doing at SSF?
I will be managing the Coordinated Entry (Access) System and supervising staff working with homeless service providers and permanent housing projects. My role involves addressing systemic barriers contributing to the homeless crisis.

What motivated you to join SSF?
As a social worker, I’ve always had the passion to make a difference. Joining SSF allows me to address systemic barriers at a macro level and contribute to combating homelessness.

What do you wish people knew about homelessness?
It’s essential to remember that everyone deserves safe and affordable housing. Housing is a human right, necessary for individuals to thrive in their communities.

What are you excited to do in your new role?
I’m excited to support the development and implementation of the coordinated entry system for survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault. Working with survivors and making a positive impact energizes me.
