Powell’s Landing: Tentative Move in date- April 8, 2025
- Powell’s Landing, featuring 69 studio apartments, serves a vital lifeline to individuals experiencing homelessness, with units allocated for Hope Cooperative and El Hogar SEWP. In collaboration with these organizations, the property offers more than just housing-it provides a comprehensive approach to care, including dedicated units for those requiring behavioral health services. With SSF’s referral process now complete, SHRA and the John Stewart Company are diligently processing applications, bringing these individuals closer to the stability and support they urgently need.
Hope Landing- Tentative Move in dates- Started Moving clients in 3/25/25
- Hope Landing, a dedicated housing community for seniors aged 55 and older experiencing homelessness, offers 122 units in partnership with Hope Cooperative, El Hogar SEWP, and Adult Protective Services. This initiative plays a vital role in providing stability and support to a vulnerable population. With SSF’s referral process now complete, SHRA and the John Stewart Company are carefully reviewing applications, taking a significant step toward securing permeant homes for those in need.
Upcoming Projects
Pardes – Elk Grove Project Based Voucher Site
- A new chapter in affordable housing unfolds with the Pardes Project, offering 1 and 2-bedroom units in Elk Grove. Designed to serve at-risk populations, the site is set to open its doors with a tentative move-in date of June 4, 2025. Access is via the SSF referral process, ensuring those most in need are prioritized.
CAS Housing Office Hours
Providers seeking clarity on where their clients fall on the priority list or whether they’re “doc-ready” are encouraged to attend office hours. It’s also a valuable opportunity to ask general questions about the SSF housing referral process. The Sacramento Steps Forward Housing team hosts a weekly Zoom meeting every Monday from 2:30-3:30 PM, open to all providers.
