CAS February 2025 Monthly Report

Read our February report for highlights from Sacramento’s front door to homelessness and housing services: the Coordinated Access System (CAS). Each month, the CAS helps connect thousands of residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness with crucial community resources.

One of Many Success Stories

A transition age youth (TAY) client came to us pregnant, with her due date in three weeks. She had been sleeping in her vehicle. Our staff connected with her and submitted a referral to the City-run Motel Program through Step Up on Second just in time for her baby's arrival. One week after arriving at Step Up, she gave birth to a healthy child.

This story is significant because had she not not received help, she would have most likely given birth on the street.
