Read our February report for highlights from Sacramento’s front door to homelessness and housing services: the Coordinated Access System (CAS). Each month, the CAS helps connect thousands of residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness with crucial community resources.
One of Many Success Stories
"A transition age youth (TAY) client came to us pregnant, with her due date in three weeks. She had been sleeping in her vehicle. Our staff connected with her and submitted a referral to the City-run Motel Program through Step Up on Second just in time for her baby's arrival. One week after arriving at Step Up, she gave birth to a healthy child."
This story is significant because had she not not received help, she would have most likely given birth on the street.— A Coordinated Access Navigator
